How we work

3D y Láser is a small, independent project about desktop 3D printing and laser engraving. It does not belong to any manufacturer or store.

Where the data comes from

• Specifications and measurements published by the manufacturers, linked on each page.
• Public data from bodies such as Eurostat or the U.S. EIA, with its date.
• Data shared by the community (cut settings, for example), credited and linked. We use the figure, never the text.

Every default value in the tools has a source or is marked as an example. Every page shows when its data was last checked.

What we never do

• We never say we tested a machine unless we did.
• We never copy reviews or text from other sites.
• No manufacturer reviews, pays for or approves what is published.
• When a guide calls something “the best”, it explains the criteria and how much each one weighs.

How the site is funded

Right now, it is not: store links are not affiliate links and there are no ads. If affiliate links are added in the future, every page will say so before the links, and commissions will not change the order or the ratings.

To learn what is useful, clicks on store links are counted without storing any personal data. Theprivacy policy explains how.

Mistakes

If you spot a wrong number, write to hola@3dylaser.com. It gets fixed and the page's review date changes.
